I Found my Morrie
I present myself here..."Denny Vargeese Eapen..."
What do these words mean to u...may be nothing...but for me they mean ultimate joy..
Let me get back in history..a batch of students way back in 1992-93 were studying LOGO...Yeah...thats right, LOGO...that was the computer program taught at schools those dayz...The computer teacher was a student friendly.charming, young person with a flashing smile and immpeccable memory..his name retention capacity was something we all students marvelled at.
My memory fails to recall when he left school..nobody knew where he went thereafter.Time passed...years rolled by...the 92-93 batch of LOGO learning students have passed out...some even graduated...
Thanks to the social community websites the batch is still in contact with one-another..but for the teachers, they still just remain in the memories.
Now coming to the real part of the story...an alumini,in one of the social community websites poses a question on the where-abouts of the student-friendly LOGO teaching (computer) teacher. In response, all the other ex-students come up with their own guessworks...some say he is in Dubai, some say UK,some reveal ignorance...till one fine morning..we get to read the following words..
"I present myself here..Denny Vargeese Eapen"...........
What more? its none other than the teacher himself....Astonished,shocked,surprised.....My joy knew no bounds...awestruck at his very presence..though it was just his virtual presence...he is in Canada(he explains)..with his cute family of 3...on our request he uploads his family pic...n once again we get to see his charming smile...albeit his receeding hair...but the memory still sharp..n name retention capacity still his USP..
I dont know how to react....All emotions cant be put in words..they need to be experienced...i wonder if i can ever meet him in person...
As of now all i can say is............
"I found my MORRIE"
