Excuse Me Please

Dominos, Shoppers Stop, ICICI – Direct, have 1 thing in common. When you haven’t availed their service for a while – they send you friendly reminders. If blog hosting platforms- start doing this – my Frequency of Slow Blogging will be reduced.
It would be wrong to say- there was nothing to write, and partly right to say, there was nothing to elaborate. I have a valid excuse to back this.

Last week, I was reading Devdutt Pattanaik’s Jaya. (a detailed Mahabharata story). Understanding Vichitravirya’s lineage was a task in itself. Leave aside blogging; even Newspapers and Television were accessed sporadically.

Jaya made me revisit my late night reading habit. Friday night was Kurukshetra War, Saturday - Bhishma’s death, Sunday –Yudhishthira reclaiming Kingship!! I hope, as a reader, you are sympathizing with me?

Before Yudhishthira’s crowning at night, Sunday Evening had some more pleasant things for me.Met Author, Blogger – Kiran Manral at Justbooks Clc Nerul. Might land up meeting her again – if she makes it to the Blogger meet- coming Sunday.

Previous week Sunday, I was out of Mumbai. The quick trip that I made to Aurangabad, was not just to hog with Dad at my Favourite City restaurants. It was to encash on the Overnight to & fro bus ride –which I always find refreshing.

Presuming excuses have been well taken - resuming writing.

I went through this myself. The void inside the brain with no ideas or inspiration to write-the so called writer's block. I now realize, writer's block doesn't exist-it's just a smart name for laziness. I have been lazy to sit and write. Realizing this helped me write better and ideas trickled in as the fingers tapped the keyboard of my laptop.

I am not calling you lazy, my friend. But I guess, you can write when you sit down with determination.

take each new day as a fresh departure, a new beginning. nothing else matters. your struggle is understandable. not only is the epic epic, but also relationships and motives have layers that take time to appreciate. wish you all the best for your bloggers meet.
