Defenseless

Breezed the winds across his face, making him tug closer to her.
Coyly cuddled around her arms, for want of warmth from her slim blanket.

Exhilarating was the speed, making his body shiver,
Entwined were his fingers, in this cold weather

Peacefully couched all by herself,
Cocooned in the blanket sheltering her alone

Defenseless against the winds he stood
Lest he disturb her peaceful sleep.

Much empathy with defenselessness, and much inspiration too - of survival inspite of it!
