Gentleman's Promise ( from INR to USD)

This post has been published by me as a part of the Blog-a-Ton 41; the forty first edition of the online marathon of Bloggers; where we decide and we write. To be part of the next edition, visit and start following Blog-a-Ton. The theme for the month is "Sweet and Sour"
Tall & mighty here I  stand - $$
You need my support, I understand
A lot you lost in the days gone by
Tough times,I know, they are hard to buy.
Here I am, to help you climb
Hold me  and you shall be fine.
++++++
Humbled I stand, not humiliated though
This too shall pass, is all I know
Days Sweet and sour, both pay their price,
When you sleep, I shall rise.
Times will change, and the world will see,
A Gentleman's promise - from an Indian Ruppee.

  1. Beautifully written. I do hope Indian rupees gain its old glory at the times of pre-independence. Nice work.
