The maid with a cloth went to mop the misty glass; I stopped and lead her to nearby table. Dusting the table was more important, I said, I have to chop my vegetables there.
The mist had just begun to form, I realized.
I reached for the remote of the television set, to get updates on the latest news. My Sis casually passed by me, heading to the window, for a misty see. Quickly I placed the remote back in her hand, reminded her it was KBC Time. Ensured she headed for a comfortable seating,
I quietly glanced at my window wet!
Mom returned home, after a tiring day. Stuffy is the room, she said, and asked for some fresh air. But the A/c of the next room is already On, I quipped. Recalling, she helped herself straight there.
Some silent dews slid by the window pane….
Naughty Fluffy has discipline to abide. But with the screens drawn open, the panes are bare. Off from my hand it jumps, and lands on its paws, sliding them across the misty panes. Disgusted I feel, prepared to face the distorted dews…
They jostled, but only to re-settle on the slippery surface!
